Grand Army Plaza At the south eastern corner of Central Park is Grand Army Plaza. This is the entrance that most non-locals enter after walking up 5th Avenue. | |  |

East Drive Looping around the park are East Drive and West Drive. Traffic is limited to certain times of the day and during the remainder of the day these roads are open to bikes, rollerbladers and pedestrians. | |  |

Horse Carriage At the south east corner of the park is where you can get a ride in a horse carriage for a spin around the park. | |  |

Musician in Central Park This is one of the many musicians that you will find playing in the park. | |  |

The Pond The southernmost body of water in the park is know simply as The Pond. | |  |

The Arsenal Next to the Central Park zoo is the Arsenal. The buildings of the Arsenal are located on 5th Avenue at 64th Street. | |  |

Walking Through the Central Park Zoo Walking north through the Central Park Zoo. | |  |

Wildlife Center Sign This is a sign for the Wildlife Center in the Central Park Zoo. | |  |

Exit North Towards the Children's Zoo This is the north gate of the Central Park Zoo that you walk towards to get to the children's zoo. | |  |

The Pond Immediately north of The Pond is Wollman Rick where people can skate through the winter and into spring. | |  |

65th Transverse Road To allow traffic to travel easily between the East and West sides there are four transverse roads. This is the one at 65th street. Others are at 97th, 86th and 79th. | |  |

Statue of William Shakespeare At the southern end of the mall are a few statues. This on is of William Shakespeare. You can find the Delacorte Theater towards the west side of the park at about 80th street. Its on the south west corner of the great lawn. Here you can see The New York Shakespeare Festival's productions from the famous bard. | |  |

Statue of Christopher Columbus Near the statue of William Shakespeare you will find a statue of Christopher Columbus. | |  |

Statue of Walter Scott As you walk up the mall you will see a statue of Walter Scott on your right. | |  |

Statue of Fitz Greene Halleck A little father north is a statue of Fitz Greene Halleck. | |  |

Sheep Meadow This is a look at Sheep Meadow, a vast expanse of real estate in the park. No dogs are allowed. You can see the apartments on Central Park West in the background. | |  |

Sail Boat Lake Unfortunately over the summer, the Conservatory Water had been drained and there were no model sailboats to play with. | |  |
