Grand Army Plaza
At the south eastern corner of Central Park is Grand Army Plaza. This is the entrance that most non-locals enter after walking up 5th Avenue.

Looping around the park are East Drive and West Drive. Traffic is limited to certain times of the day and during the remainder of the day these roads are open to bikes, rollerbladers and pedestrians.

At the south east corner of the park is where you can get a ride in a horse carriage for a spin around the park.

Immediately north of The Pond is Wollman Rick where people can skate through the winter and into spring.

65th Transverse Road
To allow traffic to travel easily between the East and West sides there are four transverse roads. This is the one at 65th street. Others are at 97th, 86th and 79th.

Statue of William Shakespeare
At the southern end of the mall are a few statues. This on is of William Shakespeare. You can find the Delacorte Theater towards the west side of the park at about 80th street. Its on the south west corner of the great lawn. Here you can see The New York Shakespeare Festival's productions from the famous bard.
